Protect Your Skin

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻… 𝘆𝗲𝘀, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱! ☀️

When we think about sun protection, most of us picture beach holidays abroad. But the reality is that up to 80% of UV rays can still reach your skin even on cloudy days.

Melanoma rates have more than doubled

In the UK since the 1990s, and while we may not have tropical sunshine year-round, UV damage is cumulative and happens even on typical British weather days.

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
☀️ SPF 30+ sunscreen, even when it’s overcast
☀️Reapply every 2 hours if you’re outdoors

☀️Wear a wide-brimmed hat and UV-protective sunglasses
☀️Don’t forget your ears, neck, and hands – often missed but frequently exposed

Whether you’re walking the dog or sitting in your garden, protecting your skin should be an everyday habit, not just a holiday one.

Let’s change the conversation from ‘sun safety on the beach’ to ‘sun safety every day’.
