Placement Student – Flynn McLenan

Flynn McLenan

IMM is pleased to have taken on a new placement student as part of our policy to nurture upcoming professional talent.

Flynn McLenan joins IMM as Business Development Executive as part of his one-year placement experience from Robert Gordon University.

Flynn, originally from Newmachar and a former pupil of Dyce Academy, is currently in his third year studying for a BA (Hons) degree in International Business Management at RGU.

In his role, Flynn has been involved with managing current clients, acquiring new clients as well as supporting medics for offshore. He has also attended various networking events including the Offshore Energies UK Young Professionals event.

Flynn said: “I’m really enjoying my time working with IMM so far. It’s a great company to be a part of and I’m loving getting hands-on experience within the business development side of things. Everyone here has been super friendly and is always there to help out if I need anything.

“Attending professional events has been great for my personal development and the recent IMM golf day out was good fun too – although my golfing could do with some practice for next year. I’m very much looking forward to the year ahead with the support of a great team!”

Ashleigh McDonald, general manager at IMM, said: “Flynn has had a flying start to his new role and has settled in really well. Placement students with us have previously gained experience in business development, admin and HR so Flynn will gain a variety of hands-on experience with us. He is an excellent addition to our team!”
