Medical Director – Dr Finlay Dick
Dr Finlay Dick is an occupational physician with over 25 years’ experience. He has worked across a range of industry sectors including healthcare, academia, the emergency services and the oil and gas industry. He first worked in the oil industry with RGIT’s occupational health unit in the early 1990s before joining the University of Aberdeen as a lecturer and subsequently senior lecturer in occupational medicine. For 9 years he was an Honorary Consultant Occupational Physician to NHS Grampian before he returned to the oil industry as senior occupational physician for Capita’s Energy division in Aberdeen. For the last four years he has been employed by BP as their North Sea Region occupational physician.

Senior Medical Advisor – Dr Graham Furnace (MFOM)
Dr Graham Furnace joined IMM in May 2017 as our Senior Occupational Health Physician. Graham has been providing Occupational Health support to the Energy Industry since 1997, his 20 years experience as Medical Advisor brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Graham was also during this period a former deputy chair of the UKOOA Health Advisory Committee before its disbandment in 2003, he later actively assisted Oil & Gas UK in the implementation of the Medical Review Process, the most recent revision of the Medical Guidelines for Fitness for Offshore Work. In 2009 Graham became Medical Advisor to Maersk Oil supporting their North Sea operations, also in 2009 he became the Medical Advisor for Oil & Gas UK, where he is involved in the maintenance of the 1000-doctor examining doctor list and associated conferences, and in the various medical and OH-related publications of the organisation, Graham still currently holds these two posts along with his commitments to IMM.

Occupational Health Physician – Dr Olgha Asatiani (DOccMed)
Dr Olgha Asatiani is dedicated and passionate medical professional with over 18 years of experience in the energy industry. She first worked as an emergency care physician before developing her interest in occupational medicine, remote medical care and training. She spent several years developing and delivering programmes to help healthcare professionals learn emergency techniques and has worked in emergency care and disaster preparedness across Europe and Africa. Dr Asatiani has years of experience working as an occupational health physician and a medical advisor within the energy industry. This experience is further enhanced by her time spent delivering and strategically developing training courses, including HSE offshore medics training, delivery of topside services, and spending significant time offshore undertaking tasks such as audits, medical assessments, governance and specialist medical consultancy services. Dr Asatiani has recently joined IMM from her previous post of a Director of Remote Medical Care when she implemented a Topside Service and occupational health clinic. Dr Asatiani is registered to undertake OGUK, ENG1, Asbestos
Ionising radiation and medical assessments.

Occupational Health Physician – Dr Carmen De Andres (MBChB, DOccMed)
Dr Carmen De Andres graduated with a degree of MBChB in 1996 from the Complutense University of Madrid. Later, in 2001, she completed her MSc in Emergency medicine. As well as this Dr De Andres has postgraduate qualifications in ITLS, a Diploma in Occupational Medicine and her DDRC. Dr De Andres is a dedicated and meticulous practitioner who is passionate about providing the highest standard of service to all clients.

Dr De Andres brings a wealth of varied experience to IMM. She has over 15 years’ experience in A&E, as well as experience in pre hospital care, clinical and paediatrics. She has been involved in Occupational Health for 10 years and has held previous appointment as Medical Officer (OGUK) for Abermed Ltd/International SOS dealing with both onshore and offshore occupational health needs. Dr Carmen De Andres is registered to undertake ENG1 medicals.

Senior Nurse Manager – John McKenzie
John is a dedicated, professional and conscientious nurse of considerable experience, John has extensive qualifications which support his role within IMM.

His experienced, calm and friendly demeanour ensures all our clients are put at ease throughout their consultations. He has an eye for detail and adopts an organised manner throughout every aspect of his role. These elements lend themselves readily to occupational health.

Occupational Health Nurse – Helena Leighton
Helena is a very experience Occupational Health Nurse, she has been an occupational health advisor for 20 years. Helena works closely with our clients to establish bespoke occupational health solutions in health surveillance and sickness absence management.

Clinic/Travel Health Nurse – Moira McKay
Moira has over 18 years experience working within the energy industry in an occupational health environment. Moira as part of the IMM nursing team will support all elements of the service provision to our clients conducting a range of medicals, venepuncture, health surveillance, and DSE assessments, she is also a fully qualified MASTA Nurse.

Business Development Manager – Patricia Douglas

Patricia has over 30 years’ experience in business development gained in senior posts in London, Paris, Switzerland and since 1996, Aberdeen. She has extensive experience in the medical support services sector having worked in the occupational health and remote medical arena for the last 9 years. Patricia has acted as Account Manager for a number of large clients across diverse sectors including Oil and Gas with responsibilities including contract implementation and on-going support.

Quick to grasp new ideas and concepts, Patricia is above all committed to providing efficient and cost-effective solutions customised to client requirements and ensuring service delivery of the highest quality.

Administration Manager – Alistair Melvin
Alistair is responsible for the administration team within IMM and has six years’ experience working in Occupational Health. He is responsible for the management of our support function and is the focal point for our clients for bookings, escalations and general queries. He is highly focused on fulfilling all needs of the clients in a professional manner.

Alistair’s desire to continually exceed clients’ expectations is the hallmark of his endeavours and this attitude is embraced by the rest of the administrative function. His dedication to meeting strict KPI guidelines and delivering bespoke tailor-made client solutions, ensures that the department serves as an efficient point of contact for clinical, management and client communication.
